dogs wear those leather thingys on their bodies, with a lease at their neck area there right? saw a little boy wearing exactly the same thing, and the mum's holdin the lease.. walkin the boy like a dog, pullin him back if he goes astray.. omg. the world's changin.. how could the mum do tat to the little boy??!! think she wanted a dog but got a boy instead.. was really v angry when i saw that.. felt like slappin the mum. a boy's not a dog for u to walk. and the sick thing was, the mum's like smiling la.... grr...

it's tat feelin of sinking.... and strugglin to break free..

the mid term has pushed me out of my comfort zone... freaks me out to see so many brillant pple ard... inferior deep down. finally i thought i've improved alot in programmin, but no! the ave was so high, i was below ave.... yeah i've improved, but not gd enuf to catch up in this rat race.

i nv liked to fail., i guess nobody does. always wantin to get the best of everything and live a fulfiling life... like wat i did in sec sch and jc.... keepin a healthy cca record while still managin to do ok at the end.. but it's so difficult to do tat... envy those who were able to juggle sch work, cca, clubs and everything else nicely . i wanna do tat, but i can't. i wanna look back on my uni life w.o any regret... i don't think i can make it.

i heard uni life's real fulfilin and fun and more relaz... yeah maybe if u r v involved with hall or cca and hv fun pple ard. maybe tat's y i feel even stress. nth for me to vent off my stress.

i've nv felt so afraid of slpin before. to slp, and wake up feelin anxiety because u know u wasted time slpin instead of doin work.

today's ain't a gd day for me... was sick and moody.. can't believe tat i'm so weak now.. keep falling sick... catchin a cold was like super rare last time. it's irritatin when u want ur brain cells to work but they just refuse and go to slp.. feel so drowsy... sat's exams how???

don't like it when pple take u for granted. like call on u and talk to u when they need u.. and when they don't, they are hard for u to find... it's so hypocritical... grr... they just don't learn.

how i wish for sat to be over soon... can't bear to see the results of my exams.

been studyin for like 3 hrs straight... argh!! and the night is still like damn young... really feel tat i'm laggin so much behind that i'm drowning. so i came up w this plan: to slp earliest 2am, and wake up latest 8am. gonna pump alot of cafe nova in btwn... haix, it's always the same prob of inconsistent work.. hope it's not too late!!

phew. think i can pass c++. =) yeah finally i am able to make some sense out of it.. so much so tat i manage to finish the latest lab half an hr earlier. wheE!

tried andy's unicycle for a little little while on sunday.. yeah i met up w him and ivan. so hard to balance on the unicycle. had to hold on to the 2 guys.. guess andy and i kinda distanced. missed crappin w him.

vivocity is like super big la... but still so empty and dusty!! many shops weren't open... think it's kinda inconvenience to walk from one shop to another on the 2nd floor. had to walk one big round to get to e other end.. lame shit. the tangs there is much cooler then tat at orchard. more high end stuff there. totally not a place i'll hang out much i guess.

wat the hell am i doin at hostel on a fri night??? gosh... this is sick... fri night i'm like supposed to be goin out la.. and i've to be stuck in the room alone , in a hall tat's like a ghost town. sigh.... y can't the lecturers put their tests doin lesson time ?? i need my weekly break ar!

got sick again today and puked... on my shirt... and on my crumpler bag. sigh.... the green puke stain on my shirt somehow turned red.. weird...now i'm left with my ultra big adidas bag to bring home... =(

getting more n more busy w sch work ar... stress....

i'm like blastin rock music and nobody will bother..

kudos to those who can juggle both sch work and sch activities well.. i'm like so drowned la.... maybe cos i've been slackin and now am panicking... *bangs head on wall*

symptoms of impendin stress ( is impendin the right word? heck)
1. poor diet..
2. takes only half an hr naps...
3. coffee on empty stomach
4. constipation
5. extreme sian-ness

i must not attack the potato chips in my fridge!!!!!!!!

oh i'm goin back to starbucks to work... once a wk.. for that miserable bucks.. i dunno y i'm doin this.. more money to treat myself after stress?

great, i'm indulging in the potato chips now. is there any other healthy snacks out there? dun wan mr tummy to visit me. ok , eatin cornflakes now.. shld buy more to eat

had a nice chat with ah ma chong when i met her. kinda started thinking..

my uni-hostel life revolves ard my old frens, my family, desmund and sch work.. mon-fri will be spent tryin to catch up w sch work. fri-sat will be spent w him, sunday w my family... is this the way i'm gonna spend the nxt 4 yrs?

met up w zun yest and she asked wat i'm gonna do. work at least once a wk, or quit... wat a hard decision.... really in a dilemma. opportunity cost of workin is lesser time spent w him and family.. i guess my mum wouldn't want me to work either.. but i don't wanna quit... sigh...

shld i be proud of being cca-less and activities-less? there's the same opportunity cost again... i see pple ard me being busy and not spendin time w their love ones. is it worth it? the only cca i'll ever be interested is canoe polo.

uni is the last lap of our education... it's also the most impt one.. shld studyin be priority? or a mixture of studyin and cca/hall activities ? don't wish to screw up this time round..... i've always managed to pull through in the end.. but the work now is overwhelming.

life is so fan... always askin us to make difficult decisions to define ourselves.

Think the 1 wk break is v useful.... i finally felt i was better at the stupid programming module!!! so guess i'll goin s/u my human resource course.... sigh, waste money on that textbook which really bores me.. and i'm goin s/u that course.

wat a lousy day. i had 3 nightmares, and i woke up after each one.. so tired... can one hv so many nightmares in a row??? bloody hell.

ms seah has given birth to a girl... goin to visit her on sat with the rest of the gang. =) finally we get to visit her... the baby's name is Prisca. so special la.. think all her kids' names gonna start with 'P'. dad's Patrick, mum's Pamela, baby girl's Prisca..

thanks to the sickness, i've lost weight.. haha.. finally la.. and i'm glad i'm still maintainin that weight.. 48kg now.. if i drop by one more kg, i'll be a happy person... doubt i'll ever get back to 45kg.. whee!

going back hall today.. intended to study calculus but the test's been postponed.. sian.. so i'll go there and do some housekeeping... i mean, alot of housekeeping..

finally gonna study at airport tml! and eat delifrance for lunch... been like, almost a yr, since we've last been there? too bad trish and en couldn't make it. i miss cafe rizatta too.... so happy!

meetin eve for dinner! finally get to see her after so long. =)

i only realise how much i miss being at home only after stayin at home for more then 2 days... miss how things r, and studyin in my room at night... my bed... my tiggers... my family... and tat got me thinkin abt whether i shld continue stayin at hostel... i've been sick quite bad there, legs seem to hv lots of bug bites blah blah.. but then, the opportunity cost is my slp.. sigh...

and then again, i woke up at 6.30am, went to tan tock, went to the dentist, went to cut hair, and didn't felt tired till ard 4 plus... maybe i can tahan like tat if i stay at home. maybe not.

maybe i'll stay for one full yr.. and move home.

i must admit that nth feels better then home.

the weather's so freakin hot tat i feel like wearin shorts everyday to sch, heck the shortness.. summer's over but the weather still shows no mercy.. where's the rain?? but the thing is, lecture halls can be cold. grr...

friday's lessons are torturous.. i dun understand y i've ample slp but i still am totally drained out durin both lessons.. y is c++ programmin early in the morning??? most of the time i dun understand wat the two lecturers are blabberin abt so y not just slp.

and hvin an one hour paper on c++ programmin in a mth's time sure isn't smth to ... look forward to

but yeah, went shoppin w aud yest and i'm happy with wat i bought. *grins*

i seriously think tat after 4 yrs in ntu, i'll develop solid, well defined calf and thigh muscles. cos i live on the 4th storey, and there's NO elevator.. and ntu is designed in such a way tat there's always a flight of stairs for u to climb. like... wat the toot.. sure there's lifts ard. but they'll always crowded when lessons gonna start so the alternative is the stairs...

i realise my maths isn't that gd after all! feel so inferior in classes. and there's like pple on par with the teachers! goodness.... so much to catch up on la.. damn sian.. so much logic when i hv none.

and i guess, i nv learnt not to be clumsy. last wk, while ironin the clothes, i ironed my hand too.. and burnt some hair.. today, after sweepin, i realised my skin came off! didn't even felt any pain la... haiz. the agony of havin to mop the floor and tryin to bathe w one hand cos it hurts when the wound is in touch of water..

quite settled down in hall now. but i guess i miss the presence of my family, despite their noisiness and constant nagging. miss my little bro lots.. sigh.... but i like studyin late into the night, w absolute no disruption (except for my fridge). at home, my mum will not slp till we slp la.. cos she thinks there's no pt workin tilll so late.. but it's always nice to hv someone who's concern abt u i guess. i'm glad i still hv the energy to slp late and wake early. still...

i dun understand y some pple are willin to do certain things for some frens but not for others..

all in all, things are still fine... at least that's wat i think they are.

i miss my brother.

hmmm.......... my timetable is pretty gd ba... no morning lessons except for friday. everyday slp until sun come in le then wake up.. hehe.. but i hate tues,... cos i hv one hr break after each one hr tutorial. n there's nth u can do durin one hr breaks. it's damn bored la. i was like a wandering soul walkin ard findin my frens. haha.. sian like shit. somemore still end at 7.30pm... so dreadful!

but at least... i made some frens... which is cool, cos i nv attend any camps... even made a fren from my econs class.. cos i wasn't from engineering so everybody knows everybody else. and they had a maths lesson prior to the tutorial, so everybody was inside liao. so weird to go in when everybody in there, then some more almost all guys.... had to look ard to c if they hv the econs tutorial on their table just to make sure.

otherwise.... things r stil fine... know my way ard.. kinda..

but i guess.. im still in a slack mood... don't hv the motivation to revise.... which is smth i shldn't be doin la.. cos must revise and study.. now uni le... i told myself the same thing before jc started. but still ended up slpin thru lectures and playing... and see wat happened? i failed GP. slpt thru upper sec and see wat happened too? can't afford to let history repeat itself, but where's that motivation in me that i need?
